What is included in the class fee?

Your class fee includes a fun filled 2 hour class with instruction, inspiration, and comradery as well as all the materials required to complete the class artwork. The studio and your workstation will be set up with all the supplies needed for the class which will include the surfaces, paints, brushes, and any other materials necessary to fully create your work of art. All your artwork is yours to take home and enjoy and we encourage you to give each assignment your own unique spark. Framing is not included in the price of the course, however, framing options are available upon request.

What if I have to be late or leave early or need extra time?

Each class is what you make of it and how you make it work for you. We aim for classes to begin promptly at 6pm and end at 8pm. However, we are also flexible. Feel free to arrive early. The studio opens at least 1/2 hour before class begins and stations will be set up in advance in order to make your settling in to your artistic space easy and comfortable. If you need additional time to complete your artwork, the studio is open for 1/2 hour after class ends in order for the cleanup crew to do their magic. We never want to rush the creative process, so if you need to spill into the cleanup period once in a while, we totally understand or feel free to attend a future class for additional time and instruction. We aim to have the class curriculum setup in such a way which allows for varied creative durations and you are always free to allow your piece to remain unfinished until the next class or to take it home to finish in your own timeframe.

What should I wear?

Come dressed for comfort and relaxation in something a few paint spatters won’t ruin. The vibe in our studio is relaxing spa meets creative outlet with no judgement whatsoever. We want you to be free to create so wear whatever gives you that freedom.

Where do I park and how do I find the studio?

The studio is located at 174 Bellevue Ave, Suite 210. Parking is available on Bellevue Ave, Memorial Blvd, Williams St, and Jones Ave with paid parking in the Bellevue Gardens Shopping Center. Unfortunately we cannot validate your parking for Bellevue Gardens. The studio is located in the Travers Building with the entrance directly across from the intersection of Bellevue Ave and Williams St. The entrance doors are located next to Annie’s and are marked with 172 & 174 in large gold numbers. Once in the lobby you can take the stairs or the elevator to the second floor. The studio is located directly at the top of the stairs and just off the elevator. Look for Suite 210 with the Art JLE logo. Come join us inside and let your creativity flow.

Can I bring food/drink?

Yes, of course. The studio has a bottled spring water dispenser with hot and cold water and a mini refrigerator equipped with items to make your experience the best it can be. We do not have a food and beverage license and of course we will ensure we stay in compliance with all Newport regulations. That being said, there may be items which Jenna is known for to ensure your creativity is not stifled by your hunger. Always feel free to bring anything you would like to make this experience amazing. The studio is equipped with cups, glasses, plates, silverware, napkins, and general basics. If you have any questions, always feel free to click [Contact] or email jenna@artjle.com and we can discuss details to make Art JLE your best experience.

What is the refund policy?

Due to supply costs and space reservations, course fees are non-refundable. However, we understand that life happens, therefore if you are unable to make a class, please notify us (preferably 48 hours prior to your class) and we will try to reschedule you to another class that works within your schedule. Due to the class structure, we may not be able to reschedule you to the exact class, but we will work our best to ensure you are happy with your alternate class options. If you have any questions or special requests, please do not hesitate to email jenna@artjle.com. We aim to make this entire process relaxing, stress free, and a complete joy! Life throws us curves but we can sway to the music.
